Summer & Winter Skills Academies
Boys and Girls | 4th to 8th Grade
Skills Academies are 3-day basketball intensives with 100% concentration on individual skills. Half (morning or afternoon) and full day programs offer an alternative to summer and winter break camps and are formatted for athletes who are ready to work hard and level up their fundamental skill sets.
These programs offer a great opportunity for players looking to sharpen or learn new skills, keep in shape, practice new footwork techniques and connect with other athletes that are serious about basketball.
During sessions, our qualified JD7 Coaches assist athletes in the development of strong fundamental skills in a variety of areas. Athletes are broken into groups based on their needs and focus on drills fomulated specifically for their skill level. This customized approach helps athletes develop the instincts and confidence they’ll need to succeed on any team, for years to come.
Sessions Offered
Morning Session: 9am - 12pm
Afternoon Session: 1pm - 4pm
Full Day Session: 9am - 4pm
1 hr lunch break during full day sessions (lunch not provided, please bring a lunch).

The JD7 currently runs group programs out of Huron Valley area schools, Birmingham and Rochester area gyms and schools. Private program locations vary throughout Metro-Detroit based on athlete need.
