Coach Colleen started playing basketball at 5 years old. She went to Bishop Foley Catholic High School, where she was a 4-year Varsity Basketball Player, while also playing volleyball and softball. She earned many awards in all 3 sports noted below. She also played AAU Basketball for Legion Select.

She continued her academic and athletic career attending and playing basketball at Concordia University - Ann Arbor. She graduated in 2016 with dual bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Exercise Science. During the summers she started coaching travel basketball for Legion Select (now 1829) and spent 7 years total coaching travel ball. After graduating she started coaching at the high school level for both volleyball and basketball. She also spent 3 seasons coaching club volleyball. She spent 6 years at her alma mater, Bishop Foley. In those 6 years, she won 2 volleyball district titles. She also won 3 CHSL titles, 4 districts titles, 3 regional titles, and made 2 MHSAA final four appearances all for basketball.

Colleen joined JD7 for their inaugural Winter Academy in 2022, the boys Select 7 season in 2023, and assists in many other JD7 programs and sessions when she is available.

Colleen is now the Women’s Volleyball Head Coach at Oakland Community College. She is also the girls basketball JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach at Birmingham Groves High School.
