Coach Britt
Brittany Gibson | Local Coach
Brittany Gibson is a passionate player development coach who helps young athletes unlock their potential—on the court and in life. A former NCAA Division II standout, she earned a full-ride scholarship to Northwood University, where she was named Freshman of the Year in her conference. That journey shaped not only her game, but her mission: to help the next generation of athletes reach the college level and beyond.
Today, she serves as a Varsity Assistant Coach at Groves High School in Birmingham, Michigan, and as an Assistant Coach for the Michigan Crossover 17U Nike EYCL team—a nationally recognized program for elite youth talent. With experience competing and coaching at high levels, she brings a unique perspective to player development.
Her coaching style blends skill development, basketball IQ, and emotional intelligence, while also focusing on life skills that prepare athletes for success off the court. Whether it’s building confidence, improving decision-making, or mastering the mental side of the game, she is committed to developing complete players and well-rounded young adults.
Driven, relatable, and purpose-focused, Brittany is more than a coach—she’s a mentor who helps athletes turn ambition into action, and potential into performance.
