Coach Abby

Abby Weiss | Guest Coach

Abby is a former division 1 athlete across two sports, basketball and cross-country. After her college career at Coppin State, (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) she continued her basketball career playing semi-professional for the Maryland Jewels organization, and played semi-pro for the Maryland Monarchs.

After graduating she became a sports performance coach for her Alma Mater, where she lead men’s and women’s tennis, track and field, and assisted in volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball. She was also a fitness coach at Onelife Redmill in Virginia Beach with specialty in sports performance training.

Her philosophy is turning clients into athletes, and integrating sports performance tactics within her training programs. She takes pride in equipping athletes to a successful transition to the next phase of their careers across all levels: high-school to college, college to pro, pro to retirement, while educating  athletes on building their name, image and likeness (N.I.L.).

Prior to her career in sports performance, she spent five years as a sports information and compliance director and transitioned to working as the Assistant Director of Strategic Communications for the MEAC Conference headquarters.
